South Asian Health Foundation and Dar Update on Diabets in Ramadan

The DAR International Alliance prioritizes the need to manage diabetes. This event is intended to better inform the public on how diabetes can be managed during the time of Ramadan. The Alliance aims to help stakeholders by advising and providing methods for healthcare and Muslim outreaches. In particular, the event gives special emphasis on how fasting during Ramadan can improve one’s overall health and counter type I and II diabetes.

Attending this event will allow you to learn a wide array of skills and strategies in the management of various aspects of diabetes. This is also an opportunity to better understand Ramadan and its importance to the Muslim community. Other clinical topics are discussed. Given the various sectors attending, ranging from healthcare professionals to religious groups, this is also a good opportunity to expand your network.
